Peabody, Danvers, and Beverly, MA, are three towns with plenty of local points of interest to explore. One way to do that is in a comfortable crossover with a long list of amenities. While two popular options are the 2020 Audi Q3 and 2020 BMW X1, learning more about each will help you decide which is right for you.

That's why our team at Audi Peabody created this Audi Q3 vs. BMW X1 car comparison. We'll go over the similarities and differences of each vehicle, so you can make an informed decision. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Audi Q3 vs BMW X1: Interior

Both SUVs feature upscale-looking interiors, with the Audi Q3 featuring standard leather seats. While the SensaTec upholstery in BMW models is known for its soft feel, it's not real leather, which makes the X1 a bit different than the Q3. The Q3 also comes standard with a panoramic sunroof that opens the cabin and lets in some fresh air and natural sunlight. The X1, on the other hand, doesn't come with a standard roof.

The 2020 Audi Q3 also comes standard with three-zone automatic climate control. This way, the driver, front- and rear-seat passengers can set their preferred temperature settings, rather than settling on being too hot or too cold. The BMW X1 doesn't come standard with this feature.

Cutting-Edge Technology

Each SUV offers plenty of technologies to help keep everyone onboard connected, entertained, and safe. They both come standard with Bluetooth® capability to stream audio and make hands-free phone calls.

The 2020 Q3 offers an available 90-day trial subscription to SiriusXM® Satellite Radio. This feature offers over 100 channels of commercial-free music, plus news, comedy, sports, and more. The 2020 X1, on the other hand, only offers pre-wiring for SiriusXM®, but doesn't provide the feature itself.

The Audi Q3 comes with available parking system plus. This feature uses front and rear acoustic sensors to help warn you when you're too close to another object. Also, the rear view camera provides additional visibility as you put this Audi SUV in reverse. The car also has available Audi side assist, which uses visual warnings to help alert you when a vehicle is in your blind spot.

While the BMW X1 does have a rear view camera, it unfortunately doesn't offer an advanced parking system.

Audi Q3 vs BMW X1: Specs

The 2020 Audi Q3 comes standard with a 2.0L TFSI® 4-cylinder engine that's paired with an 8-speed Tiptronic® automatic transmission. It also comes standard with a quattro® all-wheel drive system. This feature sends power to the wheels with the most grip to help maximize traction and improve the overall handling of the vehicle. The X1 also has an all-wheel drive system, but you'll need to upgrade to a higher trim level to get it.

Furthermore, the Q3 has the standard Audi drive select system, with selectable driving modes. This lets you choose between Comfort, Dynamic, Auto, Offroad, and Individual, and will adjust the steering and throttle response based on which option you select. The X1, meanwhile, doesn't give you as many driving options, as it only has ECO PRO, COMFORT, and SPORT modes.

2020 Audi Q3 vs 2020 BMW X1: Which Will You Choose?

Although the 2020 BMW X1 is an impressive vehicle, the 2020 Audi Q3 may be the better option for you with the greater number of features it offers. But to help decide if this crossover is right for you, you'll need to get behind the wheel.

If you live in the Peabody, Danvers, or Beverly, Massachusetts, areas and want to experience the Q3 in person, then contact us to schedule a test drive at Audi Peabody today!
